Dr. Manish K. Joshi

After attaining a doctorate, I worked on various scientific positions at IITM for four and a half years, out of which three years as a professional teacher, and taught the course of “Atmospheric Science” to the students of M.Sc./M.Tech. of Pune University and IITM. 

       In March 2017, I moved to South Korea to work as a “Postdoctoral Researcher” in the Research Centre for Climate Sciences at Pusan National University, Busan. In August 2018, I joined the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, as “Senior Research Associate” in EU H2020 project entitled “The Added Value of Seasonal Climate Forecasting for Integrated Risk Management (SECLI-FIRM).” 

       Also worked as “PI” on the project entitled, “Changing climate and its effect over India: Under global warming scenario” sanctioned under the “SERB FAST-TRACK Scheme for Young Scientists” of Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.
